Thank’s to our local businesses, residents, volunteeers and Lions Members we are able to host, provide and coordinate various fundraising events throughout the year. These events allow us to continue to beautify and grow our town.
Beaverton Lions Winter Carnival
The Beaverton Lions hosts a day of fun and activities starting with a pancake breakfast, community bake sale and Silent Auction.
Shoot for Hoot
This mixed ball hockey tournament was started in May 2012 in memory of local resident Ron Harris. This was started by Ron's family and the Beaverton Lions began assisting in 2013. In the past, 1/2 of the proceeds went into the community with the other half being donated at the discretion of the Harris family. Currently all proceeds go directly to the Beaverton Lions Club for community projects.

canada day celebrations
This is an annual complimentary community festival for residents and visitors to celebrate the birthday of our nation. This local celebration is produced as a community partnership with The Lions Club of Beaverton, local businesses and service groups, bringing multi-generational and family-friendly activities throughout the day and evening.
The Harold Lodwick Citizenship Award will be announced at 2:00 pm in the fairgrounds, come out and congratulate this years’ recipient.
elimination car draw and dance
This annual event is held the third Saturday after Labour Day and is our largest fundraiser with all proceeds going towards community projects.
Tickets are available starting July 2nd from all Lions Club Members as well as Davis Hardware in downtown Beaverton. Each ticket admits 2 people and includes dinner, live entertainment and a whole lot of fun. It is important to note that tickets are limited with only 1000 sold!
