Message from the President

As President of The Lions Club of Beaverton, I am truly honoured to lead over 50 dedicated volunteers who generously give their time and energy to serve this vibrant community. Our shared mission is simple but powerful: to make Beaverton an even better place to live, work, and play.

We believe the best way to achieve this is by listening closely to the people who call Beaverton home. Whether it’s expanding services, enhancing local spaces, or supporting new ideas, we are here to respond with action and care. Every project we undertake starts with your voice — your feedback, your needs, your hopes for the future.

Many of our proudest achievements — Lodwick Park, the Randy Skinner Family Splash Pad, Foster Hewitt Memorial Playground, the Skate Park, and the Lions Loop — came to life through this spirit of community collaboration. These spaces were built not just with bricks and pavement, but with passion, purpose, and a deep understanding of what matters most to Beaverton families.

As we look to the future, our focus remains on building upon these successes. We are committed to enhancing our existing events and exploring new opportunities that bring value and joy to our community. Our traditions of service and community involvement continue to guide us, reminding us that the strongest communities are those that come together — not only to raise funds, but to raise one another up.

I’m incredibly proud of the diverse and passionate members who make up The Lions Club of Beaverton. Their commitment to service is the heartbeat of our organization. We also know that fresh ideas and new energy are key to our continued success. If you share our passion for community and want to make a difference, we warmly welcome you to join us. Reach out to any Club member or contact me directly at president@beavertonlions.ca — we’d love to hear from you.

Together, let’s continue building on our legacy and creating a brighter future for Beaverton.

Yours in service,
Lion Bill Graham, President
The Lions Club of Beaverton
